Bigger, better Pennsylvania Convention Center is dedicated
March 4, 2011The Pennsylvania Convention Center’s $786 million expansion was officially dedicated Friday.
Some 400 people attended the ribbon cutting, held in the grand entryway on Broad Street in Philadelphia.
“We heard a thousand times this will not get done,” said Buck Riley, chairman of the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority. “Here we are today, on March 4th, with a completed building, on time and on budget.” Read more »
