STEM Punks from The Franklin Institute kicked off the Carnival with a 75-rocket salute while onlookers cheered, followed by live entertainment from Alex & the Kaleidoscope band. Throughout the sunshine-filled day along the Delaware River, attendees were also treated to free admission to the Independence Seaport Museum.

Perfection Events and Stockton & Partners have a decade-long track record of successfully producing events jointly, including partnering on the grand opening events for the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority expansion in 2012. It is this spirit of collaboration that helped them win the bid for the DNC Delegates Welcome Reception.

“Event Planner of the Year” Jennie Udell & Kate Stockton

The Philadelphia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announced that Stockton & Partners Meetings and Events, Vice President and event planner Jennie Udell has been named the meeting “Event Planner of the Year”. The award will be given to Ms. Udell at the chapter’s annual awards dinner on May 20. Jennie has been an active member of MPI since joining the industry in 2004 and has served on the MPI board of directors as Director of Sponsorship since 2015.

Ms. Udell is a partner in the event and meeting planning company, Stockton & Partners. S&P is a full-service meeting and event planning firm located in Philadelphia, PA.
